Tell Me about Apton Hall
Situated in the beautiful countryside near Rochford, Apton Hall is a (relatively) new Essex wedding venue comprising of three main buildings, a courtyard, a Grade ii listed Bridal Suite and guest accommodation. Dating back to 1086, the venue has been lovingly restored to become an exclusive wedding and events venue.
The restored stables feature the original brickwork and beautiful large wooden beams, and is fitted with a PA system allowing you to play your favourite music from your phone as you walk down the aisle. The courtyard – featuring a bespoke gazebo – is described as having the perfect mix of ‘contemporary and rustic charm’. The New Barn is – as the name suggests – the newest building at Apton Hall and is used for the wedding breakfast. It features bi-folding doors which open out to the courtyard and an extension that doubles the size of the space. Open all evening and featuring a fitted bar is the air-conditioned Cow Shed, whilst the Snug Bar provides a calm environment for guests throughout the day. In the winter you can cosy up near the log burner, and in the summer, you can cool off when the doors open out onto the Pond Garden. On the morning after your special day, you and your guests can meet for breakfast in the Granary which features ex[posed beams, and wooden floors.
With capacity to host your wedding ceremony outdoors in the courtyard, or inside The Stables you can hire Apton Hall, safe in the knowledge that come rain or shine, you’ll be saying ‘I do’ in stunning surroundings.
