Proud London Gay Wedding Photographer
London Gay wedding photography that celebrates you just as you are

As a proud, creative London gay wedding photographer, covering the whole of the UK, I’m passionate about capturing truly authentic moments of love and laughter on what will be an incredible wedding day.
However, I also understand how frustrating and alientating planning your LGBTQ+ wedding can be at times. Constant references on websites to “bride and grooms” and suppliers asking questions based on assumptions and stereotypes, can take the excitement out of planning your gay wedding.
Therefore, I make it my number one priority to ensure that your LGBTQ / same sex wedding day is captured sensitively through vibrant, timeless photography that enhances the beautiful and unique qualities of you as both individuals and as a couple. For me, wedding photography is more than simply snapping away to illustrate the story of your day. It’s about helping you to celebrate who you are and who you love, and providing the freedom to be 100% yourselves.
As your LGBTQ wedding photographer I’ll be part of your wedding team (before and during the big day) and I make it my responsibility to help you create a wedding that is filled with a million magical moments. As soon as you book me as your wedding photographer, you’ll recieve a complimentary copy of my wedding planning book and my welcome pack that helps you to plan a wedding that is truly unique to you.
Gay weddings. LGBTQ weddings. Same sex weddings. Are they any different to straight weddings and should we not just refer to them all simply as weddings now?

Whilst as a gay photographer I agree that we should be working towards a world in which we don’t need to distinguish between straight and gay weddings, planning a same sex wedding day can sadly add an extra layer of stress to what should be a joy-filled experience. I’ve worked with so many gay couples across London who get frustrated by reading about wedding photography packages that refer solely to ‘bridal prep to first dance’ coverage or are asked to complete forms that are written soley with straight couples in mind.
Even gay photographers can make assumptions about you and the wedding day that you are planning. These experiences can take the sheen off what should be the best time of your lives. I pride myself on being a same sex wedding photographer that doesn’t resort to lazy stereotypes.
By booking me as your London gay wedding photographer, you can relax knowing that your wedding photography experience is free from these frustrating and alienating experiences and know that my passion for gay wedding photography stems from being a proud gay man who values individuality, and is not based on me simply wishing to make my wedding photography portfolio look more diverse or current.
Being a same sex wedding photographer also means that I know that some wedding traditions are not relevant to LGBTQ couples and I’m passionate about helping you to make your day truly unique and avoid aspects that may not resonate or sit comfortably with you.

Unique LGBTQ Weddings
Not just another London Gay Wedding Photographer
My approach to being a London gay wedding photographer centres on getting to know who you are, what makes you tick and learning how together we can celebrate the love you have been lucky enough to find.
Once I’ve learnt all about you and how my gay wedding photography can help to create lasting memories of your wedding, I will produce wedding images that are fun-filled and dripping with authentic moments of your wonderful day; from photos of tearful vows at your ceremony to your guests being outrageous on the dance floor.
I capture wedding images that showcase people looking and feeling their absolute best, and your gay wedding photoshoot is designed to make you walk away feeling incredible about yourselves.
Photographing same sex weddings is an absolute privilege, but gay photography can often perpetuate standards of beauty that are unrealistic and narrow-minded. I’m here to shoot your wedding in a manner that showcases how wonderfully unique you are and to highlight how awesome you should feel about yourself.
You’ve met someone who loves you just as you are, and by being your wedding photographer I want to capture how brilliant that feeling is as you celebrate a truly momentous day.
As a full-time wedding photographer, London is an incredible, diverse city in which to work and I love capturing images for couples from all backgrounds and of all identities.
There is no other couple quite like you anywhere in the world, and there is no other gay wedding photographer – London, UK or worldwide – quite like me, so let’s get planning your ultimate wedding photography experience together.

Frequently Asked Questions
DO YOU DO VIDEOGRAPHY AS WELL?
DO YOU JUST DO GAY / LGBTQ WEDDINGS?
Does this mean I don’t shoot or don’t enjoy shooting straight couples? Absolutely not!! Who you love, how old you are, what you look like or what your faith is have no impact on the customer service you receive from me. As I have said elsewhere, all I ask from my couples is to be 100% themselves so I can beautifully capture who you are and not who you think you should be.
Everyone is welcome and will be made to feel so.
HOW DO WE BOOK AND WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU ARE ILL ON THE DAY?
HAVE YOU PHOTOGRAPHED AT OUR VENUE BEFORE?
I have photographed at many venues across London and the UK but if I have yet to shoot at your wedding venue that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Photographing a venue for the first time allows me to see things with fresh eyes and come up with creative ways to work within the grounds and buildings. I always love to visit new venues with my couples beforehand to plan where we can take some stunning images and come up with lots of exciting shot ideas. Do not let lack of venue experience put you off booking a photographer that in all other ways seems perfect for you.

Kind Words
— Gay wedding photography reviews —

Upon speaking with Ross and seeing some of his work, I knew Ross was the right photographer for us. At our same-sex wedding, it wasn’t just our feelings we had to consider, but that of our 2 young children too. I was conscious that I wanted them to be captured as the stars of the show and feel special, which was caught in some amazing photos that we can look back on forever.
Ross’s communication was great from start to finish which made me feel at ease as I worried about other aspects of the wedding day.

We really appreciated the pre-wedding photo shoot which gave us chance to get more comfortable in front of the camera. The photos of the wedding day itself are simply beautiful, capturing the humour, love, happiness and joy of the day.
If you’re still considering who to book as your wedding photographer, think no further than Ross – I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
