Imagine having your wedding day inside this stunning venue, with its 360-degree views of the capital, and extensive attention-to-detail when it comes to hosting special events. Your wedding day will be a talking point for guests for years to come.
Searcys at The Gherkin – as you would expect – create wedding days steeped in luxury and style, but that does not mean couples planning a more intimate wedding are not welcomed too. This venue can help put together a package that aligns with your vision, regardless of your guest numbers.
If you opt for the full wedding package at this venue, you’ll have two floors (Helix Restaurant and Iris Bar) to yourself from 2pm to 11pm. The Helix Restaurant offer sky-high views of London and three course meal of modern British cuisine followed by coffee and petit fours, whilst the Iris Bar one floor above serves a variety of creative cocktails and a range of champagne and wines to suit all tastes.
Micro wedding packages include the use of a private dining space (which can be adapted from one to two rooms depending on guest numbers) from 6pm to 10pm, in addition to a three-course dinner and petit fours.
WHAT MAKES Searcys at The Gherkin SPECIAL?
Searcys is renowned for its quality food and drink and is passionate about providing sustainable cuisine. Over 90% of the ingredients used are both British and seasonal, including free range eggs, red tractor-approved milk and only line caught tuna. These ingredients are expertly crafted into stunningly original dishes and canapes that you and your guests will adore.
The building itself is licensed until 3am meaning the party doesn’t have to stop just when the party gets going, and with an entertainment licence, DJ facilities and dance floor, that party is guaranteed to be a good one. The Gherkin is fully accessible and air-conditioned so all your guests can comfortably enjoy every element of your day. WIFI is also available if you can’t wait to share those selfies on your social media.
The team will work closely with you to realise all your wedding dreams and vision and can recommend a range of suppliers that they have developed close working relationships with. If you want to personalise the space, you can hire in clear chairs and flowers from outside suppliers too. Just because The Gherkin is an iconic piece of architecture, does not mean your wedding day will be like everyone else’s that take place there.
HOW MANY GUESTS CAN I INVITE TO Searcys at The Gherkin?
For Mirco weddings you can choose to use a combination of 5 spaces.
Combined, the Cirrus, Nimbus and Cumulus spaces can host 18 people in a boardroom layout, 25 in a theatre layout or reception or 20 for banqueting.
The Stratus and Alto spaces can host 24 people in a boardroom layout, 35 in a theatre layout or reception or 30 for banqueting.
The Cirrus-Stratus or Alto-Cumulus combinations can host 30 people in a boardroom layout, 60 in a theatre layout or reception or 50 for banqueting.
Levels 39 and 40 (Helix Restaurant and Iris Bar) can be hired for exclusive use in the evenings and on weekends. Level 40 can be hired for weekday events.
Level 40 Only -160 reception, 140 banqueting, 140 theatre, 70 cabaret, 70 semi-exclusive reception.
Level 39 and 40 – 260 reception 140 banqueting 140 theatre 70 cabaret.
