Photography Training London

I’m excited to offer group and individual photography training to amateur photographers across Essex and London.
With a career background in working in schools for children with additional needs, my experience allows me to adapt my teaching style to meet the needs of the learner and provide learning that is both fun and informative.
I offer two types of photography tuition.

Tech-free Photography Workshops
Regardless of whether you take photos using your smart phone, the latest DSLR or your great granddad’s Box Brownie, my relaxed and friendly workshops will help you to improve your photography skills by teaching you non-technical tips that are free from jargon and easy to put into practice.
In a safe, socially distanced environment I help you to discover;
– how different forms of light can impact a photograph
– the important decisions to make BEFORE we press the shutter
– basic composition techniques that can take a photo from grim to great
– how to tell a story through a single photograph and how to put photographs together to create a photo essay
No prior experience is necessary – just a device that takes photographs and an interest in learning more about photography.
Contact me to find out the next workshop dates in your area.
1-2-1 Tuition
Feeling awkward about aperture? In a spin over shutter speed? I offer hourly, half-day and full day photography training that is tailored to your specific needs.
You can learn at your own pace, practice specific techniques time and time again and ask an endless amount of questions. We can even meet on location if you have a specific event, person or location that you are seeking to capture to a higher standard.

Kind Words
— From Lovely people —

We also gave him the challenge of photographing us with my horse and 2 dogs alongside 200+ guests! We received the photos and slideshow super quickly (1 month!) with Ross presenting us with the USB in a beautiful box. I cannot recommend Ross high enough! He is truly talented and such a lovely person to be around. Thank you for giving us a gift that will last a lifetime.

I knew I would be asking Ross to take my wedding photos before my husband even proposed. I knew he would completely understand that there were certain ‘traditions’ that I didn’t want at my wedding and that included photos.
Ross is great at making you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and is as able to capture your wedding parties’ attention for group photos as he is inconspicuous and therefore able to get some fab relaxed shots. Of the few formal pictures we wanted Ross completely understood what we were looking for and his photos are the first thing any guest to our house sees. I recommend him 100%.

So I set my groom the task to pick the photographer and what a job he did! From start to finish we felt at ease with Ross. He took the time to meet us at home and the venue and listen to our love story, so he really could take the best photos of our day! And what photos we have, they are incredible, he didn’t disappoint. I can see from the results the passion he had in taking the photos and talent in getting the perfect shot, capturing our day from start to finish! I couldn’t recommend Ross enough, thank you.
