A guide for couples who want photography that feels real, relaxed and completely them.
LGBTQ+ weddings in London are some of the most emotionally rich and expressive celebrations I get to photograph. Every couple brings their own story, energy and way of loving and no two days ever look the same.
Yet many LGBTQ+ couples tell me they feel nervous about the photography long before the day itself:
“Will we feel comfortable?”
“Will the photographer understand our dynamic?”
“Will we have to pose in ways that don’t feel like us?”
“Will our identities be respected?”
These questions are real and valid. As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community who got married last year, I totally relate to your concerns.
My role is to create a space where you never need to hide, perform or shrink yourself for the camera.
My approach is simple:
You should feel safe, seen and completely yourself in your wedding photos.
No pressure. No clichés. No assumptions.
Just calm, natural photography that reflects your real connection.
London is one of the most inclusive wedding cities in the world, offering spaces that allow every couple to celebrate freely and authentically.
Some favourites I’ve photographed include:
Chelsea Old Town Hall – iconic, elegant and LGBTQ+ friendly
113 Chancery Lane – calm architectural spaces with beautiful light
Westminster & the Embankment – perfect for quiet early-morning portraits
Private dining rooms & micro venues – intimate, warm and personality-filled
City streets at sunrise – effortless, cinematic backdrops without the crowds
Whatever your vision – bold and joyful or quiet and intimate – London gives you the freedom to make it your own.
Inclusive photography isn’t just about representation. It’s about experience.
That means you will never be:
pushed into stiff poses
styled into roles that don’t reflect you
encouraged to perform affection unnaturally
photographed in ways that overlook your identity
directed with assumptions about gender or expression
Instead, I use gentle prompts that help your natural connection come forward:
small movements
simple interactions
quiet moments
natural expression
breathing space when you need it
Your comfort shapes the photos – not choreography.
I’m proud to photograph:
same-sex / gender couples
trans couples
non-binary and gender-expansive partners
queer couples with fluid expressions
couples whose dynamic doesn’t fit tradition or stereotype
Every couple deserves to feel confident, supported and fully themselves in front of the camera. Your identity is honoured and never assumed.

At the heart of all of this is one truth:
When you feel comfortable, your real connection shines.
That’s what creates the most beautiful photographs not poses, not trends, not forced romance.
Just you, being yourselves, on one of the most meaningful days of your life.
If you’re planning an LGBTQ+ wedding in London or Essex and want photography that feels calm, inclusive and deeply personal, I’d love to hear from you.
