I love being booked to be a couple’s Wiltons Music Hall wedding photographer and returning to this one-of-a-kind London wedding venue year after year.
Adam & Christophe planned their wedding from their home in Bangkok, and their wedding day was an international affair with guests coming from all four corners of the globe to watch them say ‘I Do’ on the stage at Wiltons. At the bottom of this blog, you can see some highlights from their wedding day and below I have answered some questions you may have if you are considering (or soon will be) getting married at Wiltons Music Hall.
Some of my couples’ favourite wedding photos are taken on the stage which is used as the setting for the main ceremony. The lighting staff are always on hard to create the mood or feeling that aligns with your taste and wedding aesthetic, and they work closely with the wedding photographer to make sure your vows are captured as beautifully as possible. The stage can also be used for group shots and posed couple portraits later in the day.
The balcony is also a beautiful space, and the fairy lights and dsitressed walls add something memorable to your wedding images. It can also be a great viewpoint for aerial photos of the dance floor and evening entertainment.
Outside, the alleyway just outside of Wiltons Music Hall is the perfect spot for the confetti photos. One of the great things about being a Wiltons Music Hall wedding photographer is turning up at each wedding knowing there are so many wonderful places to capture heartfelt wedding photos.
As previously mentioned, Wiltons Music Hall is a 10 minute walk from Tower Hill tube station with connections to the Circle and District underground lines. It is also within walking distance of St. Katherine’s Dock which is home to a range of hotels and restaurants – perfect for guests who need overnight accommodation.
Wiltons is a magical place to get married, but like with all wedding venues there are some practical things to consider throughout the planning process. When it comes to travel arrangements for you and your guests, make sure you are aware of any public transport closures on the date of your wedding and share these with your guests as early as possible.
I would also advise checking with the venue about what time you can party until. As it is located in a built-up area, music may not be permitted after a certain time.
I always advise my couples to make sure you are aware of any accessibility needs that your guests may have. Wiltons Music Hall’s auditorium is wheelchair accessible and there is a downstairs toilet, and the balcony is also accessible for wheelchair users.
I absolutely love capturing weddings at Wiltons Music Hall, it is one of my favourite London wedding venues with its unique charm and rustic backdrop. If you have booked Wiltons for your special day, you’re in for a joyful day.
